The holidays can be a stressful time of year for everyone. As we are rushing around trying to get to Christmas events, buy gifts for family, and making sure our houses are clean and tidy for company to arrive, try to set some time aside to breathe, relax, and unwind during this season. Whether it’s reading a book by the fireplace, enjoying a soothing bubble bath, or getting a relaxing massage, slowing down and taking some time for yourself is important so that you don’t burnout. Pacing yourself can help to prevent illness and improve overall health during a holiday that is notorious for being busy and hectic.
