Valentine’s Day Gift

People seem to struggle to find that perfect gift for someone special. Christmas is over and the house is loaded up with lots of presents from the holiday; more stuff is not something anyone wants or needs. Valentine’s Day is around the corner and couples still want to do something special for the ones that they love. Why not give the gift of massage therapy?

Massage will allow an individual to relax and unload the stress that has built up from the busyness of a new work year. All those aches and pains that your muscles hold from the cold will be worked away. As many people create New Year’s resolutions of a healthier life-style, massage also promotes a better well-being along with increasing your resistance to illnesses and colds.

There are many benefits to massage therapy and it is a great way to unwind. Give the gift of massage this year to tell the person you love that you care about them this Valentine’s season. Book online or call now.

Massage for your Health

The end of the year is coming quickly and with the holidays approaching, many people are beginning to feel stress. On top of it all, with the colder weather, the winter time can bring on some pretty severe colds and flus. Our immune systems are weaker and illnesses seem to be a common theme at this time of the year.

Coughing and sneezing are symptoms of illnesses that can have lasting effects on your muscles. It may sound funny, but it’s actually quite common for individuals to get a rib out of place or a muscle spasm due to a cold or flu symptom. Although you probably shouldn’t go see a Massage Therapist while you are sick, it is important to book an appointment for a treatment after you get over your illness so that your muscles can heal properly as well. Massage Therapy may also help boost your immune system, as it helps reduce stress hormones in your body that can be detrimental to your health.

If you have suffered from cold symptoms that have left your muscles in pain, book a massage today. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and good health in the New Year!

COVID-19 Update

Due to the State of Emergency announced in Waterloo Region this past week and the mandate put forth by PHA and my governing college (CMTO), I will be temporarily keeping my Massage Therapy Clinic closed at this time. As I am unsure as to when it will be safe to reopen, I will be contacting clients on a weekly basis who have an upcoming appointment to cancel their treatments and will be placing them on a rebook list for when this outbreak has passed.
