Muscles Aches and Cold Weather

Ever wonder what the cold weather does to your body? A lot of people feel like their muscles get achier in the colder months than in the summer season. Cold weather can affect muscle health in different ways. If we aren’t dressed properly for the winter conditions our bodies can tense up without conscience effort. Our shoulders go up to our ears in an effort to protect our neck and the cold wind hitting us can tense up our leg muscles and any other areas that are exposed to the elements. Let’s face it; even as Canadians, the cold temperatures affects all of us!

Soothing those tight shoulders and necks through massage treatment can help us cope with the effects of the winter weather and all the muscle aches and pains that go with it. Whether you are sore from constant shoveling or just tensing up from the miserable and relentless wind, massage Therapy can help relieve all those muscle aches. If you find you`re sore from the chilly weather, book a massage today!

COVID-19 Update

Due to the State of Emergency announced in Waterloo Region this past week and the mandate put forth by PHA and my governing college (CMTO), I will be temporarily keeping my Massage Therapy Clinic closed at this time. As I am unsure as to when it will be safe to reopen, I will be contacting clients on a weekly basis who have an upcoming appointment to cancel their treatments and will be placing them on a rebook list for when this outbreak has passed.
