A Nutritious Lifestyle

As summer progresses barbecue season and camping season go into full throttle. Suddenly that diet that you started back in January begins to be threatened by ice cream, ice caps, and cold beer. It’s okay to treat yourself once in a while, but remember that living well and feeling well needs to have a nutritious, balanced diet behind it for a healthy lifestyle to work.

If you go for a picnic remember to pack healthy food such as fruits and vegetables. It’s easy, you can eat them raw, and they can taste really good on a summers day. Carrots sticks will have lots of vitamin A for your eyes. Broccoli is important, especially for women, seeing as it’s full of iron. Orange wedges, peaches and strawberries will have plenty of Vitamin C for healing and to pump up your immune system. Don’t forget that at a picnic you’ll be in the sun which will give you plenty of natural Vitamin D as well!

Live well by eating well! Enjoy your summer!

COVID-19 Update

Due to the State of Emergency announced in Waterloo Region this past week and the mandate put forth by PHA and my governing college (CMTO), I will be temporarily keeping my Massage Therapy Clinic closed at this time. As I am unsure as to when it will be safe to reopen, I will be contacting clients on a weekly basis who have an upcoming appointment to cancel their treatments and will be placing them on a rebook list for when this outbreak has passed.
